Is this the service I need?This service is for a hard drive replacement. Symptoms of a bad drive are a red-x on the screen, sync errors, or playback errors. It can be further distinguished by a loud clicking noise heard when you put your ear up to the back casing. In some cases it will make a more subtle sound like: tick-tick-tick---tick and then a pause followed by the same pattern, repeatably.
We will remove your old drive and replace it with a fully tested refurbished drive (as it is no longer possible to buy new drives for this model).
An alternative option is an SSD drive which we offer in a separate service page. These use non-moveable parts and last much longer than the original spinning drives. They are available in capacities up to 1TB.
Track your repair status onlineUsing our online order tracking system you can see when your device is received and checked in at our facility, when the repair is completed, and when your device is shipped back to you. A tracking number is provided with the return shipment.

All products include a 60-day limited warranty. The warranty begins on the delivery date stated by the tracking number of your order.
Your warranty covers any malfunction that is a result of a manufacturing defect. We will not cover issues related to water damage, physical abuse, or improper installation.
