Replacement Headphone Audio Jack/Hold for Apple iPod Video 5th Gen 5.5G 30gb
Is this the part I need?
-Can fix sad face error
-Can fix no power to hard drive
This hard drive cable works with all Toshiba hard drives used in the iPod Video 5th Generation models including the 30gb MK3008GAL, 60gb MK6008GAH, and 80gb MK8010GAH. This cable connects the hard drive to the logic board.
This cable can fix issues related to a hard drive that does not spin-up or a device that shows the sad face because of failed communication with the hard drive via this cable. If you have the sad face and can hear the hard drive clicking, chances are the hard drive itself needs to be replaced.
Apple does not sell their parts in the market. Therefore, the parts you see available will always be aftermarket unless they are part-outs from a used device. The quality of the replacements is not equal. Over the years we have sorted through, literally, hundreds of manufacturers to build an offering of the highest quality parts on the market.
Feel confident in your purchase knowing that you will notice no difference in the fit, size, material or functionality of your new parts.
