How to use these tools(1) Metal spudger opening tool
The metal pry tool is used to open the casing of your iPod Nano 4th Gen by removing the top and bottom white plastic covers. If done right, there should be little to no scratching on the iPod casing. You can also use the fragile pry tools, however, you may find that they break before you can pry off the pieces.(1) Mini phillips screwdriver
Once inside your iPod Nano 4th Generation, there are small phillips screws that will need to be removed in order to slide out the "guts."(1) Mini suction cup
The suction cup is not used in the repair of this device, but can come in handy for future repairs.(1) Mini flathead screwdriver
The small flathead is not used for repairing this model but can come in handy for future repairs.(2) Durable non-conductive pry tools
(2) Durable non-conductive guitar picks
Use the non-conductive pry tools and picks for unplugging cables and unlatching connectors that are attached to your iPod Nano 4th Generation's logic board. This is a good precaution to avoid potential static and short circuit damage.

'Used the tools with a nano screen replacement. The tip of one of the pry tools broke early, but I was able to finish the repair with them. Don't expect them to last long, but you get what you pay for.'
