How to use these tools(1) Metal spudger opening tool
The metal pry tool is used to open the casing of your Zune. If done right, there should be little scratching on the Zune casing. Over time, we have found this method to be much more effective than that demonstrated in our video, where the fragile plastic pry tools are used. The plastic pry tools and guitar picks can aid in the separation of the casing, but not exclusively.(1) T4 screwdriver
Once inside your Microsoft Zune 80gb/120gb, there are T4 torx screws that will need to be removed in order to access various areas and remove certain parts. This tool is required for nearly every repair except a hard drive replacement.(1) Mini phillips screwdriver
The phillips screwdriver is is not used in the repair of this model but can come in handy for future repairs.(1) Mini suction cup
The suction cup is not used in the repair of this model but can come in handy for future repairs.(1) Mini flathead screwdriver
The flathead screwdriver is not used in the repair of this model but can come in handy for future repairs.(2) Durable non-conductive pry tools
(2) Durable non-conductive guitar picks
Use the non-conductive pry tools and picks when unlatching connectors that are attached to your Microsoft Zune 80gb/120gb logic board. This is a good precaution to avoid potential static and short circuit damage. These can also aid in opening the Zune case.

'The blue plastic pieces in this kit are basically worthless as they are brittle and flimsy and break at first use. The rest of the pieces were fine. My order was mailed out and received quickly. It was a fine transaction.'

'Not a good set of tools for opening a Zune. The tools for prying are cheap and the T4 screwdriver should have been a T3. Would not recommend the item.'
